Dr. William Stymiest MD, CCFP
Originally from the Miramichi area, Dr. Stymiest complete an undergraduate degree at Dalhousie University in 2010 and earned a degree from Dalhousie University Medical School in 2014. Moving to Fredericton he completed training in Family Medicine 2016.
In addition to his family medicine practice, Dr. Stymiest continues to care for inpatients in his practice and participates in a rotation for patients who are admitted to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital without a family doctor. He also works several times a month at the Queens North Community Health Centre and contributes to the physician coverage with the UNB Varsity Reds hockey team.
Outside of clinical duties he teaches medical students and residents, is an active in the Family Medicine Department at the Chalmers and is a board member of the Capital Region Medical Society and the Dalhousie Medical Alumni Association.
